since I upgraded to version 7 (possibly earlier) Opening a new
window with a new writer window takes about 65 seconds. The new
window is opened using File -> New -> Text document.
No other windows are open other than the window's Task Manager.
Loading a local document into that window takes 60 seconds.
The cpu is not maxed out but there is a LOT of network activity.
(100Mbs LAN with 60gbs net download speed).
With LO stopped there are occasional bursts of network activity.
No other program has problems with slow loading.
Any thoughts?
