I want to have a column in which each value is either the sum of previous columns or if the sum exceed the value of 1, it is substituted by 1.

So I tried =MAX(SUM(F12:I12),1)

But it does not work. What do I miss?

Just that you need =MIN(SUM(F12:I12),1) instead?

I trust this helps.
