Hi Thomas,

1. You have to eanble Asian language. Check Asian language in Tools/
Optionos / Language Settings / Language.
2. Enable text toolbar - Check "text" in View / Toolbars submenu.

Then you'll see a text icon that can insert text box for vertical writing.

Best Regards.

I need to write vertical text (Japanese) in text boxes but cannot find out
to manage that.
(I have been working on that almost a whole day already).

Inserting a text box and writing something give a horizontal text.
Rotation then turns the whole thing for example 90 degrees, but that does
not
give any "vertical writing" as it is supposed to look in Japanese.

I would very much appreciate any hints.
Thomas
