I have some old Mac AppleWorks/ClarisWorks files that I wanted to update
using LibreOffice Calc. They opened fine but the Calc document has what
seems to be an infinite number of columns as no matter how many unwanted
columns I delete, they reappear!

How do I get Calc to just open the old files without adding empty columns
and/or rows?

Also, is there a way to limit NEW Calc documents to say, 1 sheet of 10
columns and 100 rows then allow me to delete/add as needed?
