I recently upgraded from LO 5.2x to 5.3x and notice that it no longer
remembers the last used template. It appears the behavior is now to default
to the type of document currently open, e.g.:

If I have a spreadsheet open, New->template only shows spreadsheet
If a text file is open, New->template shows text document templates.

I prefer the old behavior because 99% of my template use is with text
documents but I often have a spreadsheet open at the same time. This means I
have to do extra clicks I didn't have to do before to get the list of text

Was this an intentional change and, if so, is there any way to get the old
behavior back so it just remembers the last template I used and
New->template defaults to that? Or is there an option to show all templates
for all document types? That would work, too.
