Hi,

When you go on the Font panel and look at the available languages, is
there a mark indicating the dictionary has been installed for the
language you are using (something like a green checkmark with ABC next
to it)?

I don't see a Font panel. I can pull down the Tools menu and then under
Language is For all text, which has choices:

English Canada
English USA
None (Do not check spelling)
Reset to default Language
More...

none checked and none responding to my clicks

Hi,

I'm using Libre Office, mostly Writer, version: 5.1.4.2 with Linux
Mint. I would like to have check as I go spell checking. In the
past
I
haven't done anything special to make this happen, it seems to have
been the default behaviour.

I'm not sure what information would help diagnose this. I can use
shift-F7 in an attempt to turn on auto checking but no joy. Ideas?

Dave
