I have MRI Version 1.2.4 successfully installed on LO on CentOS7 64Bit,
and it works fine.

I installed 1.2.5 from Github 
( on LO and on 
master, on Mac OS X 10.10.3 (Yosemite) for all users with sudo unopkg, without problems. But if I 
remember correctly, I first did a user install, just with Tools > Extension Manager, selecting the 
downloaded file, also without problems.
