Dear Brian,

Thank you for suggestions.

"If you want URLs to be automatically detected and converted to hyperlinks,
you need to have the option(s) ticked at Tools | AutoCorrect Options... |
Options | URL Recognition."

That answers my question. Problem solved. Thank you.

You can toggle between the display of filed name and their values.

 (2) Whenever I typed an internet address, there was no underscore:
http://www.libreoffice.org. The underscore does not appear even now.

You can easily underline any text by selecting it and using right-click |

than that?

o If you want URLs to be automatically detected and converted to
hyperlinks, you need to have the option(s) ticked at Tools | AutoCorrect
Options... | Options | URL Recognition.

o If you are finding hyperlinks are not appearing in the correct colour
and with the correct style, you can modify the appropriate styles at
Format
| Styles and Formatting. Click on the Character Styles button and
right-click the relevant style and select Modify... | Font Effects. The
relevant styles are Internet Link and Visited Internet Link.

You do realise that automatic detection will not occur until you follow
the URL with a space or line break or paragraph break (or similar?)?

I trust this helps.
