Hi :)
It is actually better to post each question as a separate thread instead of
bunching them together. It mean your subject-line can be more directly
relevant to the question and that will hopefully increase your chances of
getting a good response from someone interested in that topic.
The "Save" button 'should' dim when there is no difference between your
latest saved file and the way the file appears in LibreOffice or
OpenOffice.
So, try saving to a different folder in case you were saving it somewhere
weird or incase the file was getting corrupted or changed somehow. Also
check that your keyboard doesn't have a key jammed somehow or repeatedly
hit so that it's repeating a key(s). A fav for that is to remove the cat
from the keyboard (if that is possible).
Regards from
Tom :)

Actually, my problems were three, not two.
(3) When I save my document I use the SAVE on the toolbar. When I click
it, my data is saved, and the SAVE image is dimmed. But earlier today, it
cold not be diimmed.
How can I dim it?
