Pages on a mac has a nice feature of popping up a message telling you
what font in the document is not available on your system and it will
be replaced so check for spacing or layout changes.
Could you please check how good is the replacement by Pages for the
document in ?
The following fonts are used:
liberation sans

uses any rules according to which the replacement font is chosen? Or
the choice is random (unless I set the replacement manually)?

For example, LO may select a font with the same or at least similar
metric (e.g Liberation serif instead of Tines New Roma). But I do not
know it it really happens.

What about other ofiice applications? Do they have anu rules
