Hi :)
It is possible that your computer is set-up with it's "regionalization" set
to German. The normal LibreOffice downloads page cleverly detects what
Operating System your computer uses and which language it prefers by
default.
I'm guessing you use Windows? If so then all of the advice works because
the 1 download includes all languages. For other operating systems you
might have to use a package manager to add-on the correct language for the
UI/UX and for the spell checker.
Either way it might mean working in German so it's probably better to just
re-download LibreOffice but with the correct language selected, in which
case Luuk's link is hugely useful.
