Hi :) You can go directly to the secfix or any other version you like. It's not a normal update as such. It's a full reinstall. So, you can go from any version to any other version without needing to worry about what happened in the middle. All your settings and configs are all stored inside your "User Profile" which the reinstall doesn't touch. It is a good idea to make a copy of your User Profile every so often but the normal 'update' wont affect it. You can get an idea by quickly skimming through the intro on this wiki; https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile Regards from Tom :) On 7 October 2014 12:10, edo1 <edagro12@verizon.net> wrote:
Thanks to Luuk and Foote for the pointers, I've got everything I need now to update. Should I update from ver 4.2.5 to ver 4.2.6.3 first, or can I update directly to the secfix? I'm inclined to do it stepwise, but am just curious to know if omitting 4.2.6.3 would work. ---- gpg: 0x877E7F00 0x877E7F00.asc (1K) < http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/attachment/4125066/0/0x877E7F00.asc> -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/ver-4-2-6-secfix-tp4124967p4125066.html Sent from the Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: users+unsubscribe@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
