Hi :) The Documentation Team have suddenly galvanised into action and got really close to completing the Writer Guide. Just 2 more chapters to review! Ch 12 = Table of Contents and Indexes Appendix A = Keyboard Short-cuts If you can follow instructions and test that they work then please join the team and test-drive the instructions to check that they work. There's even a guide on how to get started in the Documentation Team! https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/Development Even better if you tend to find that you misapply or struggle your way through instructions and tend to get different results than manuals or if you tend to find that when you follow instructions they somehow start talking about things that can't be done from where they led you to - then you could be really useful in the team. The team is skipping proof-reading this time. It's just checking for accuracy to make sure the instructions do work. Just 2 chapters folks and then the guide can be published!! (4 chapters at most (if the 2 people working on another 2 don't get back in touch soon)) There is also a Base Handbook that could really use a few people similarly working through it and checking for accuracy. You don't even need to know Base but it might really help if you do.
