This is probably best done by using a database with an external
back-end and with the photos kept in a folder outside of the file.
Another option would be to do it as html instead of even trying to do
this inside an office suite.
However if you don't already know how to set-up something like that
then i would probably use tables in Writer rather than Calc. It's not
clear how many players nor how many columns of data each player needs.
