How can I get my spreadsheets pasted into impress to update in real time during the presentation?
If you want to insert a spreadsheet into LibreOffice Impress and show it
in the presentation, you can go to Insert > OLE Object > LibreOffice
(x.x.x) Spreadsheet," where (x.x.x) is the version number of LibreOffice.
It allows you to embed a Calc spreadsheet into your presentation, and
save it directly in your presentation. Formulas seem to work fine, and
show the correct calculations when showing the presentation. I don't
know if they update real-time, though.

I hope this helps!
