Apologies if this is not the correct way to ask, but first time with email
group and the wiki doesn't actually tell you how to post, so I'm assuming
email to users@...
Apologies also if this has been done to death elsewhere but no
instructions on how to search the email archive - as opposed to browse the
subjects page by page.
Tried general web searches and note that this issue has been around on and
off for a while on a number of releases, but there's no obvious "official"
acknowledgement or explanation of cause.
Tried to use the ask site but I don't have any of the single sign on
options offered and don't want them. No other logon method possible. Tried
to leave them feedback to this effect but after 20 goes with captcha gave
up! Hope email is easier...
As the error message is talking about things that I wouldn't expect an
install of Libre Office to affect I'm naturally cautious.
So, Trying to install 4.1.3.2 on Windows 7 64 bit.
Get dialogue error: Files in use | Some files that need to be updated are
currently in use.
It then lists in my case two apps which are
Intel® Dynamic Application Loader Host Interface Service &
Intel ® Management and Security Application User Notification Service.
Any specific ideas why the error?
Any published workaround (other than stopping the services) to get the
install to work?
Anywhere that you can point me to to get a definitive answer greatly
appreciated.
Thanks,
Rick.
