Might I suggest "Last used document from..." listing "Writer", "Calc",
"Base" etc...
Why restrict it to the program you using only?

It would be nice if the listing of last used document was split up so
when I use writer I will only get the last used writer documents...
I recall there was a discussion about this and the decision was to
keep it as it is now
Why?
I would prefer splitting as Leif mentioned.
