#1 - you're subscribed to this list - otherwise, you're e-mails
would not be posted;
Hi, thanks for replying. I'm sending this message (and the previous one)
to both you and to users+owner@global.libreoffice.org because I not
able to subscribe to users@global.libreoffice.org But I just got a
rejection message from users+owner@global.libreoffice.org with the
subject "Post to users@global.libreoffice.org denied: Re: how do I
contact thelist owner?". But I didn't send any message to
users@global.libreoffice.org ??
So when you say "you're subscribed to this list", which list do you
mean? The users list or the owners list? And what are subscribers to
that list seeing, since I just get
"The message from <dave@howorth.org.uk> with subject "Re: how do I
contact thelist owner?" was unable to be delivered to the list"
#2 - what error messages?; I only respond to those I think I
can help - all other messages, I skip over -
although at times I will read to learn more re. these
machines;
I want to post to users@global.libreoffice.org about a problem I'm
having with libreoffice. I don't really want to post that question until
I'm subscribed to the correct list so everybody will see it.
#3 - this list is composed of volunteers who appreciate this
program(s) and are willing to help each other;
some are paid with various computer companies, but ...
#4 - Just use nice language and someone in the know should
respond to you anon;
Right, yes, I understand how this all works (if I can get it to work). I
spend time on the opensuse lists helping out.
if no one does, then it's probably a question no one
knows ;-)
Well, hopefully somebody knows how to subscribe. And hopefully somebody
will be able to answer my real question. I just need to subscribe!
Is there an archive?
Cheers, Dave
