Hi all,
I've got another blog post about LibreOffice Base and PostgreSQL, this one
from the perspective of a single, stand-alone PostgreSQL server and
multiple users:
http://dcparris.net/2013/08/04/distributing-your-libreoffice-postgresql-database-across-systems-and-users-the-basics/
This does not get into enforcing security and business rules - just
sticking to getting the connection going. One minor nit is that Base shows
the userid of whoever shared the Base file. It does *not* store the
password, but it would be nice if the pre-typed userid could be made to
disappear when being shared with other users.
Enjoy!
Don
