Hello, Could use some help. A couple weeks ago my daughter opened a document she had saved to
Microsoft Word on a flash drive. Ever since then every time I open a LibreOffice document, whether
a saved document or a new document, or in writer or math, I get a pop up window that says
LibreOffice Document Recovery. Listed is the document my daughter opened on my computer. I am
requested to Start Recovery, which I do then I get a pop up that says Recovery Failed and I am
instructed to push the finish button. Then I am able to continue normally. This is really
annoying. Last tonight I downloaded LibreOffice 4 hoping the overwrite would end the problem, but
no luck. Can I get help to remedy this? Btw- My operating system is Windows 8.

Thank you,

When the document recovery pops up, just disregard it and do not try to recover it, this is what sets up the next recovery attempt the next time you launch writer. This refusal should stop the recovery cycles.
