Sorry, i sent this back tot he list because i'm not sure how to solve this one now.  The 
"problems?" page

suggests 

1.  Check what type of subscription you have.  Either Standard or Digest.  Looks like Standard in 
this case but it might be smart to send to both unsubscribe places jic.  
users+unsubscribe-digest@global.libreoffice.org 

users+unsubscribe@global.libreoffice.org 

2.  Check which email address is subscribed.  

Many people have more than 1 email address and then arrange to have all addresses feed into the one 
they read.  it makes it easier to deal with attacks or other security issues but makes it a bit of 
a nightmare trying to keep track of all the different ones.  I used to do it but i'm not very smart 
about setting up good emailing systems so it kinda back-fired on me.  Unsubscribing the reader 
account rather than the one subscribed is something people often do but i think that's not the 
problem this time.  



This 'should' lead to getting a reply such as 

"Subject: Confirm unsubscribe from: users@global.libreoffice.org
Hi, this is the mlmmj program managing the mailinglist
users@global.libreoffice.org
To confirm you want the address
john.doe@example.com
removed from this list, please send a reply to <long email-address> Your mailer may automatically 
reply to this address when you hit
the reply button. [...]
"
