Hi :) Errr, you could format the cell as a text cell, perhaps just by typing in '10/30 The ' mark lets Calc know the cell is text. Unfortunately i think that means the 10/30 can't be used in formulas! :( Btw Excel does the same thing jic you were wondering. Regards from Tom :)
