With mail coming from the LibreOffice users list [libreoffice-users] is tacked on to the subject line.

The mailing list processor doesn't add the label more than once, of course; otherwise subsequent replies would accumulate multiple labels. So the interesting paradox is that the one message to which the label was not added was your present one!

Is there a way to stop [libreoffice-users] from being inserted/added.

I hope not. The solution, of course, is for all such labels to be as short as convenient. Perhaps it could be "[LO-users]"?

Consider yourself lucky: I'm a subscriber to "[HounslowCentralNorthandEast-Freecycle]"!

I trust this helps.
