I have a large and complex spreadsheet: 17 sheets and 1.4Mb. Normally, it runs acceptably fast (although not at lightning speed).

I added conditional formatting to about 80 cells: it then takes about a minute to respond to any input, whether in the cells with conditional formatting or not. Am I doing anything wrong? Is there a way to get conditional formatting without this speed degradation?

I'm running 3.6.3.2 on Vista SP2.
