That's probably because you didn't set any outline level to the header
paragraphs (Tools / Chapter numbering). Then the Navigator will show the
headers.
Anyway, it doesn't look like what I had in need, which was to actually
fold/unfold the contents of the document within the Writer window itself.
I wonder what writers use to write long documents. Maybe some word processor
in Mac does this.
I've been writing long documents for years and Writer does the job. I
use the Navigator to quickly jump to the parts of the document. I don't
feel the need for (un)folding. YMMV.
