Hi :)
Wow!!  Thanks :)  Generally you can just write comments to whichever list as and when you feel like
it.  Storing closely related comments and sending the whole lot in one go is probably better but is
not easy!

However, given the amount of work you have done it would be ideal if you could join the Docs Team's
mailing-list.  It's MUCH lower traffic than the Users List!  To sign up for the Docs Team's mailing
list, please send a blank e-mail message to documentation+subscribe@global.libreoffice.org and
follow the instructions that will be mailed back to you.

To join their team properly rather than just being on their list
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/Development

As a member of the Docs Team you can get a login for the ODFauthors site to upload your edited
document to there.  But since you have already done the work you could send it as an attachment to
me, Dan "theelder" or Jean but that would have to be off-list.  I would then forwards it to Dan.
None of the lists accept attachments.  Dan should be able to use the "Compare documents" feature
but normally the team uses "track changes" because it's easier.

Many thanks for looking through this for us!
Regards from
Tom :)

Hi, I just joined the list on Monday so I am not across all the various protocols yet. Like, I
don't know whether you have to put your hand up for this sort of thing or just do it.

Nevertheless, I am 2/3 of the way through chapter 3 and I have made some notes/changes to the doc.
I could very well be finished my review by the end of the working week. What is the next step? I
could just flick off a copy of the document with my changes if that would suit.

Cheers
Tim

Hi :) The 3rd chapter is very new but it's only in draft form at the moment and needs people to
read through and check the language makes sense. You know what it's like when you put a lot of
hours into creating something, sometimes an edit creates a comma in a wrong place or something
else fairly trivial that would normally jump out at you but it's difficult to spot because of
other distractions and plans. Anyone that can read through for such 'obvious' mistakes would be a
huge help right about now. Dan has done a great job as always so we are not expecting anything but
the docs team can't push the chapter through final phases and release it until enough people have
checked it. The people that normally do this are mostly just away right now or are slightly scared
of Base. Regards from Tom :) >________________________________ > From: webmaster-Kracked_P_P
