That is good to know; I've been wondering how some were able to get
details using the computer ...

my system has been to do the drawing by hand then scan it in
;-)

I'm moving objects in Draw using keyboard and arrow keys. Each key
stroke affects object position and moves it by certain distance. How
can I set this distance according to my preferences? I presume it will
be somewhere under Options window but I can't find anything there. Any
clues?

I'm not aware of any option for that matter but here are my findings on my
intall of LibreOffice (v.3.5.7.2 running under xubuntu 12.04, all FR).

Arrow = 1 mm move (standard step)
Shift+Arrow = 1 cm move (large step)
Alt+Arrow = 0.25 mm move (small step)

I didn't find any other shortcut using arrow keys.
