I guess you could always copy&paste the Extensions out of your old profile and into your new one
if they did apepar vanish.
The bundled extensions should always be recreated when a new user
configuration is created upon start of LO if one is not already present.
As for user installed extensions, yes, they would probably need to be
re-registered, I don't know whether simply copying over from an old,
renamed user config directory, still carries out reregistration of the
copied-over extensions when LO is restarted.
