Those free Quick Reference guides are a start. Each package has 2 pages.

I was thinking about having a 6 page reference sheet for Writer, and another one for Calc, with maybe 2 pages for the 6 as a "generic" info about the Tools>Options menus. Maybe a brief info about "custom" installs for Windows, adding extensions and templates via. the Extension Manager, and other such info that might be wanted/needed.

So, 4 of the 6 pages will be for Writer, or Calc, or Impress, or Draw, or Math, etc., etc., while the final 2 pages would be the same information that you might want for any of the quick reference guides.

I still am waiting for the ones I bought. They really fill the sheets with a lot of information, or at least with the mathematics and science ones I bought in early 2000. I will see what they did for Word and such.

Can you please share the link to BarCharts?

Also, I found these free, downloadable Quick Start Guides for Office
Applications 2007 and 2010 which may be instructive in what and how we
can create ones for Libre Writer and maybe be Calc down the road.

The sheets from BarCharts are laminated sheets of 4 to 6 letter size panels.

I will see what the ones I bought are like in a week or so.

If you go to their site, you can see the front panel of their sheets,
so you can see for yourself what they may be like.

Hi webmaster,

I'd be very interested to see how they formulated their quick study sheets.

Are they a composite cheat sheet (with quick glance function keys for
common tasks) with graphics and step-by-step instruction ala eHow for
more complicated tasks?

Do they link to YouTube videos for advanced features (ex. mail merger, etc)?

Thanks so much,

Charles.

I just bought 3 sheets for BarCharts, Inc. [$22 USD]
Excel 2010
Word 2010
Word Tips & Tricks

Will see what they have decided was needed for their laminated quick
study sheets.

Well, is seems that they charged NYS sales tax on their "Freight Out"
i.e. shipping charge. Weird.

So in a few weeks I will have them and will see what they are all
about. I MAY make low-res scans of them and send them to a few people
to help me organize what LO has and can do. Low-res will do no good
for printing and using, so it should be OK. I just want a few of us
to have an idea on how these guides are setup and what can be
included.
