Hi :)
As you can tell we mostly have different preferences and just learn ways of dealing with any
side-issues that may arise.  MS Word can't handle "Anchor to page" amongst other things so if you
need to collaborate with Word users then avoid that one.  Also LO allows you more flexibility when
dragging images around to find the best positioning.

Regards from
Tom :)

Thanks Tom, that would have saved me some time.
It is a pity there is no "Insert page" as opposed to a "shove all text
down one page".
Also be nice if you could specify the paragraph or character to anchor
to when anchored that way.

Hi :)
Alternatively just insert the pages and then cut&paste the images back to the correct page.
Their position on the 'new' page remains exactly the same as it was.

Hi.
There has been previous discussion on anchoring images in LO. Certainly an area for
improvement, I have a document with many images, anchored to page as anchoring to paragraph
and anchoring to character are not working well.
Now I need to insert 2 pages but my images won't stay anchored to the page I anchored them to.
Is there a simple work around anyone knows of.
Thanks, steve
Suggestion: anchor images "As character" in an empty paragraph. I just finished rewriting
a document with several images in 80+ pages. The images remained where they were anchored.
