"Various freeware sites" are the best guarantee that you get your
computer infected with anything *they* want. None of those packages
between 28 and 120 MB contains LibreOffice.

Apart from this, LibreOffice is not freeware. It is open source software
(OSS) which makes a huge difference.
The home of the LibreOffice is where you get the
original packages from the developers at any time.
