Were you trying to export a .ppt file?

Whenever working in Libreoffice, you should always use the native file formats... only save to the Microsoft Office format if you need to send an editable document to them.

Try saving the .ppt to a .odp and see if it works. If it still doesn't, recreate it from scratch in .odp format and try again.
