Hi all.Well I hate to say this but I tried the suggested solution, followed the instructions very carefully. Everything worked fine up to and including restarting LO after fixing the Java. I was able to go into tools options java and it shows the new version with no errors as described in the workaround. However, when I try to enable the accessibility functionality it still says the JRE is defective.
I'm going to completely remove LO and do a clean install when I have time and see if this does anything but I'm out of patience and fed up with dealing with this for today. I am running Windows 7 32-bit so I do not have the complication of the 64-bit windows as discussed in the workaround. I believe I am running LO version 3.5.4.2 if memory serves.

Please refer to Bugzilla " https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50371 " to install "MSVC2010 redistributable" from " http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8328 ".
