Base uses the HSQLDB version 1.8 as its database engine. LO and AOO Base still use this
version. The link below is the user guide for HSQLDB. What you need is found in chapters 8 and 9
which discuss the use of SQL when using Base. It will mention what SQL standards it will use,
outlines for SQL statements, and its own special SQL it uses.
