I don't think it really matters what goes into the user info for the file. It might work even if it's just a couple of spaces. It's a bit weird that anything needs to be in there but i'm sure the devs will fix it one day.
You are missing the point ;) There is no bug. In fact it works perfectly and the way it works makes perfect sense. There are only two limitations (at least under Windows...) that make this feature less perfect: 1) The user data that shows (or that you fill) during install is useless and is not used by LibreOffice (it seems to have been removed from the 3.6 installer which is good) 2) When LibreOffice is installed and executed for the very first time the user data should be requested (with a brief explanation of what it is used for) Cheers, Pedro -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/last-edit-position-tp3990856p3991154.html Sent from the Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: users+help@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
