Hi :)
Chapter 12 in the Writers Guide
shows how to apply formatting and such.  Perhaps all you need is to select the text of the ToC and 
use the ruler at the top to adjust the indents and such-like?

In my Table of Contents, I have a 2-inch indent for all entries. I don't want
that waste of space, especially when I only have about 5 inches wide to work
