It mentions not getting locked in to one vendor several times.  It 
seems to me that this is the point that needs to be used, repeatedly, 
to avoid, errr, getting locked in to one vendor.
I've responded to the first two chapters, at which point I started to 
gibber and couldn't carry on any further :-(
