[libreoffice-users] Linux 3.5.0 writer doesn't start after a while

I couldn't see this reported anywhere, but after upgrading to 3.5.0
and opening writer a couple of times it just hangs at the splash
screen and gets no further.

Downgrading to 3.4.5 and all is well again.

I tried removing ~/.libreoffice and ~/.config/libreoffice but it
didn't help. No messages in console.

If however I start the main office app and then choose text document
it works as normal.

Any ideas why this might be, or what else I can try?
