What style was used for the text with the split words? What layout
were you using for the slide with this problem? Wonder if this has
anything to do with hyphenation of words?
I just checked with LO 3.4.5 and 3.5.0 Impress. The Presentation
style was
Outline 1 in both cases. The words were not split.
I was trying to apply a template created from a PPTX file. Hyphenation
options were the same in a presentation without split words and with
split words.
Unfortunately, Impress (3.4.5) crashed on me when I was changing my
template to work on the problem. Now I'm seeing a different behavior!
I've attached the offending template.
