LibreOffice 3.3.4  on Mint 11

If I print a mail merge form that is created from a* table*, then in the
print dialogue the correct table is selected. This is what I expect to
happen.
However a mail merge form that is created from a valid *query* (that is
based on multiple tables)  requires me to select the query to be used  when
in the Print dialogue.
Has anybody any suggestions as to the difference in behaviour and a method
to ensure that the query is selected in the Print dialogue.
