I could not reproduce your issue with LibreOffice 3.4.4 on Debian (amd64).
I have created new Impress presentation, draw few lines with arrows, right-
clicked on one of them and under "Line" changed it's color to brown. Other
lines were still green.
Could you provide more details? Platform, LO version, exact steps to reproduce
your issue?
