I'm creating a small sign simply for posting on local bulletin boards at convenience stores, grocery stores, etc.

I've created screenshots and posted them here: http://db.tt/ekrMxDCg

Document.png is a screenshot of the sign. The blueish-green boxes will not be part of the sign. I'm hiding contact information I don't want posted on the World Wide Web. <grin>

Page Preview.png displays what I want to have.

But, if I go to print the document, the entire image comes out with just huge pixels. Print Preview with graphic.png.

If I remove the graphic image that says computers, no pixelization. Print Preview without graphic.

This leads me to think the issue may lie with the graphic. The graphic in the screen shots is a PNG file created by Inkscape .048. But, if I convert the PNG file to a JPG (not saving as a JPG from Inkscape), the print preview is fine.

I also tested importing an SVG version of the graphic created by Inkscape, but the graphic did not import correctly. But, based on the Print Preview, it will print correctly.

So...

1. Does LO have issues with PNG graphics?
2. Does LO have issues with SVG graphics?
