I installed the latest version today. I opened a recent ODS file and it
showed that it needed to be repaired. I went through the process and it
gave the message that it was repaired successfully. When I clicked Next,
the window closed and the file did not open. I tried the file again and it
gave the message that it needed to be repaired.
I opened the file (no repair) with OpenOffice. I uninstalled LibreOffice
v3.4 and installed v3.3. The file opened fine with this version (no need of
repair).
Hmm, there is a good change that you have been hit by one of the bugs
that had been introduced in LibreOffice 3.4.0 with code prepared for
OpenOffice.org 3.4.0 (which still has to be released) and is fixed in
one of the recent (e.g. 3.4.4), or shall be fixed in one of the upcoming
(e.g. 3.4.5 or 3.5.0) LibreOffice versions.
Best regards,
