Hello,
I am running LibreOffice Writer 3.4.4 in Mac OS X 10.6.8. I have been
collaborating with other researchers who use Micro$oft Word on some
abstracts and papers we plan to publish.
However, I notice that any comments I add to a .docx document via
LibreOffice Writer do not show up when opened in Micro$oft Word 2007,
2010, or 2011!
Is this a known bug, or am I not doing it correctly?
Thanks!
I think a bug report 43545 may cover this. You might check the xml
portion of the MSO file to see if the comments are there but not being
displayed. The docx format is a zip format and can be extracted using
zip tools - I do not know which ones are used on a Mac. You will see and
xml file which is the main text body.
