Yes, this is it. Although, I think it isn't much to ask. They just have to add another shortcut by
default in the next version.
Thank you all for your kindness and care.

I didn't ask you before because I didn't know how wonderful and helpful this community is. The
other reason is - I started in OpenOffice and I finished in LibreOffice - it was a confusing period
of my life :)

Kind regards,

Tom

A pity you didn't ask for help before you struggled!

My problem was: there wasn't a possibility to make a keyboard shortcut for "Small Capitals"
option. That was very annoying because I had to use Small Capitals for every citation of the
authors (I was writing in Italian and my University requests this kind of methodology).

o Set one word or whatever to small caps.
o Select that word.
o Go to Format | Styles and Formatting (or click the Styles and Formatting button in the Formatting
toolbar, or press F11).
o Click the Character Styles button in the Styles and Formatting window.
o Click the down-arrow at the right and select "New Style from Selection".
o Name your new character style.
o Leave the Styles and Formatting window open.
o Either: select text as needed and then double-click the name of your style in the window,
o Or: click the Fill Format Mode button and then click required words or drag over required text.
(To terminate Fill Format Mode, either click the button again or press Esc.)

Oh, and once you have created such a character style, you *can* ascribe to it a keyboard shortcut
if you prefer - which is exactly what you ask for.  Right at the bottom of the Category list you
will see Styles.  Expand that and select Character and you will see your new style in the Function
list.

I trust this helps.
