But EVERY time I copy something in Japanese from outside the calc file - even from a text file - into a cell, the font is something I do not recognize, but it definitely is NOT the font I selected. I can manually change the font for that particular cell, but appears to me like a rather unnecessarily annoying action. Is there no way to convince Calc to obey the setting I chose for the sheet?
Have you tried Edit, Paste Special (or Ctrl+Shift+V), Unformatted Text? If you are copying formatted text, it will be pasted as formatted by default, thus overriding the font you defined for the cell. -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/font-settings-are-not-maintained-tp3531199p3531413.html Sent from the Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: users+help@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
