I am pretty sure you did too Alex. Perhaps it was in a thread that had started out being on
another topic? Now that we know that forwarding is a good way of breaking a post out into a new
thread it's easier to prevent such losses.

The postgres C++ sdbc connector stuff is coming, it is being integrated
into the master code repo at the moment. It looks like it will only be
available as a connector extension though, similar to the mysql
connector, but the problem of write access to the db has apparently been
solved.
