Design view and SQL view should refer to the same SQL string. Quite often the graphic design view modifies you valid SQL though. While in SQL view, menu:Edit>"Run Directly" turns off the silly parser. Then the graphical design view is not availlable any more and you may use the full SQL capabilities of the underlying database engine.
You need a parsed query when any or all of the following is needed... - editable row set. - result set as part of a form/subform connection - a parameter query Lots of small tutorials with links, screenshots, example files: http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewforum.php?f=83 http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewforum.php?f=100 -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: users+help@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
