Hi :)
I think it is more an issue on Windows & maybe Mac than Gnu&Linux or Bsd. I
think there already is a bug-report about it in Windows. In Gnu&Linux,
particularly if you install through the package manager, there are all sorts of
things you can 'tick or untick'.

Regards from
Tom :)

Subject: [libreoffice-users] Why does the installer pre-select ALL dictionaries?

Before I go open a bug about this (or maybe there is already one for
both of these issues), why does the installer insist on defaulting to
ALL dictionaries to be installed, instead of simply detecting the OS
language, and pre-selecting just that dictionary, but of course allowing
the user the freedom to choose to install additional ones if they like?

This is nuts too...
