Hello
I use LibreOffice Writer 3.3.3 on Ubuntu 11.04. I'm a persian user, and the main text is
Right-To-Left. When I switch keyboard to English and type some english words like a[ or a[3] in
this mode, they will be displayed as ]a and [a[3! This is not the case when I use MS Office in
Windows. What can I do? Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Arham
Hello Arham, to use RTL in LibreOffice you must enable RTL
compatibility from Tools → Options → Language Settings → Languages →
Enhanced language support → Enabled for complex text layout (CTL). You
will then have RTL and LTR buttons on your Writer toolbar. If you need
help using these buttons you can email the list and CC me. Good luck
and have a peaceful Ramadan!
